Do we know how many natural house hold products we have at home that we can use for our normal everyday cleaning and living? I'm going to give you a list of uses for baking soda. Feel free to add to the list and comment. I'm always looking for a way to live frugal and as healthy as possible.

Baking Soda can be used for:
Whitens teeth- use 0nce a week as a paste
Carpet fresh- Neutralizes any strong odors in the carpet. Sprinkle all over or in area with odor(may follow with a homemade lemon or citrus spray to give area a fresh scent)
Deodorant-Dont laugh! Wet your armpits make a paste with the baking soda in your hand the size of a nickel and rub under your arm. This kills even the worst armpit odor!
antacid-If you have a upset stomach, dip your fingertips in some baking soda a few times and put it in your mouth. Guaranteed to kill any case of the bubble guts.
Hair clarifier-This removes any bad chemicals or product buildup from the hair. The hair has to be completely saturated with lemon juice and then take 2 tablespoons of baking soda and sprinkle all over the hair. Don't let the sizzle scare you. Your hair will feel lighter and fluffier after this mixture.
I want to hear from you!!!

Going Green
Greetings Espresso Followers,
I want to talk to you about going green in our homes. I recently have been researching how I can make my home as toxin free as possible. Many companies now from carpeting to bedding have gone green. I think my favorite of all the finds was a company called the Natural Bed Store. They make mattresses that are made out of completely 100% organic material! You can choose from a pure wool fill, natural cotton or natural latex. Wool is a breathable fiber, porous in nature and keeps dust mites and mildew away. The foundations are even made from natural unvarnished, untreated wood. How many of us have allergies? Do you ever think about what you or your children are breathing in at night through your mattress? I believe this is a vital investment we all should make, not only so that we are as healthy as possible but they also last a lot longer than our conventional mattresses. We spend money on a lot of things that have little to no value at all. Take a tour to Naturalbedstore.com and let me know what you think.
